Fords Blank Shorewomen, 6-0
Frushour Makes 12 Saves in Loss

HAVERFORD, PA -- Host Haverford College defeated visiting Washington College, 6-0, in a Centennial Conference women's soccer game this afternoon in Haverford, PA. The Fords improved to 10-2 overall and 4-1 in conference play with the win, while the Shorewomen fell to 1-8-1 and 0-5-1 with the loss.

Ashley Emmons scored two goals for Haverford, while Ryan Hedrick, Brittany Lattisaw, and Lindsey Dolich each tallied one goal and one assist and Elena Kozakewich recorded two assists. Sarah Morris added one goal. MeeJean Kim, Luaren Kibbe, and Southey Saul each contributed one assist.

Lindsay Festa made seven saves in the shutout for the Fords. Washington freshman goalkeeper Amanda Frushour (Westminster, MD/South Carroll) made 12 saves for the Shorewomen.

Haverford, which held a 2-0 lead at halftime, outshot Washington, 37-12, and recorded all 10 corner kicks in the game.

The Shorewomen return to action Saturday with a 12:00 p.m. Centennial Conference game at Franklin & Marshall.
