October 9, 2004 CHESTERTOWN, MD -- Five Gettysburg players scored one goal each as the visiting Bullets defeated host Washington College, 5-0, in Centennial Conference women's soccer action this afternoon at Shriver Field. The Bullets, ranked 21st in Division III, improved to 8-2-2 overall and 5-0 in conference play with the win, while the Shorewomen slipped to 1-7-2 and 0-4-1 with the loss. Kristin Zelinski and Kat Poster each scored a goal in the first half to give the Bullets a 2-0 lead at the break. Katie Myers, Janelle Fabian, and Kelly Burke recorded goals in the second half for Gettysburg. Poster also had two assists in the game, while Stephanie Smith and Christina DiTucci each tallied one assist. Gettysburg goalkeeper Allie Loeb made one saves in the shutout.Washington senior goalkeeper Jennifer Chapman (Alexandria, VA/St. Stephen's & St. Agnes) recorded seven saves.
