14, 2003 CHESTERTOWN, MD -- The Washington College Shorewomen played to a 0-0 double-overtime tie with Delmarva-area rival Wesley College in women's soccer action this afternoon at Shriver Field. The scoreless contest was not without scoring chances, however, as the two teams combined for 46 shots. Junior goalie Jennifer Chapman (Alexandria, VA/St. Stephen's & St. Agnes) made 12 saves for Washington (4-7-1) en route to her third shutout of the season. Christine Holmes made nine saves for the Wolverines (8-3-1). Wesley held a 27-19 advantage in shots and a 4-2 advantage in corner kicks. The Shorewomen have now held the Wolverines scoreless in their last three meetings, having posted 1-0 and 2-0 wins over Wesley in the 2001 and 2002 seasons, respectively.
