25, 2003 CHESTERTOWN, MD -- The Washington College women's soccer team fell to 4-10-1 overall and 0-8 in Centennial Conference play with a 3-1 Centennial Conference loss to visiting Muhlenberg this afternoon at Shriver Field. The Mules improved to 12-3-1 overall and 8-1 in conference play with the win. Rebecca Armstrong scored all three of Muhlenberg's goals in the first 24 minutes of the game. She scored unassisted markers at 9:43 and 17:08 and the scored off an assist from Courtney Levine at 23:11. Senior midfielder Jen Cox (Monkton, MD/Hereford) scored the Shorewomen's goal at 84:13 off an assist from junior forward Joanna Santarpia (Staten Island, NY/Tottenville). Muhlenberg held a 19-10 advantage in shots. Each team had 10 corner kicks. The Shorewomen are back in action Wednesday with a 3:00 p.m. Centennial Conference home game against McDaniel.
