Johns Hopkins Downs Shorewomen
Chapman Makes Seven Saves

BALTIMORE, MD -- The Washington College women's soccer team fell to 4-6 overall and 0-4 in Centennial Conference play with a 3-0 loss at Johns Hopkins this afternoon. The Blue Jays improved to 9-3-1 overall and 3-1 in conference play with the win.

Hopkins scored all three goals in the first half. Meg McIntosh scored twice off assists from Lauren Bowman, at 18:26 and 30:29, respectively, to give the Blue Jays a 2-0 lead. Jessica McKenzie then booted in a goal off an assist from Kathleen Turley at 42:41.

Junior goalkeeper Jennifer Chapman (Alexandria, VA/St. Stephen's & St. Agnes) made seven saves for the Shorewomen.

The Shorewomen are back in action Saturday with a 1:00 p.m. Centennial Conference game at Gettysburg.
