22, 2003 HAVERFORD, PA -- Host Haverford College pinned a 5-1 setback on Washington College in a Centennial Conference women's soccer game this afternoon. The Fords improved to 7-10 overall and 4-4 in conference play with the win, while the Shorewomen slipped to 4-9-1 overall and 0-7 in conference play. Sophomore midfielder Steph Bradley (Weston, MA/Kimball Union Academy) scored the Shorewomen's only goal when she blasted in a corner kick at 5:41. The Fords, who led 4-1 at halftime, got one goal each from Caryn Dolich, Elena Kozakewich, Kendra Metzger, Lindsey Dolich, and Alice Cartwright. Junior goalie Jennifer Chapman (Alexandria, VA/St. Stephen's & St. Agnes) made 17 saves for Washington in the loss. The Shorewomen are back in action Saturday with a 1:00 p.m. Centennial Conference home game against Muhlenberg.
