14, 2002 HOBOKEN, NJ -- The Washington College women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 double-overtime game this afternoon to host Stevens Tech. The loss drops the Shorewomen to 3-3 this season, while the Ducks improved to 4-2. Valerie Barnhart scored the game's only goal at the 104:33 mark to give Stevens Tech the victory. The game was a defensive battle, as Stevens Tech held a 10-8 advantage in shots. Duck goalie Romy Guevara made one save to earn the shutout, while WC junior Mandy Higdon (Catonsville, MD/Catonsville) made four saves in the loss. The Shorewomen return to action Wednesday with a 4:30 p.m. game at Trinity (DC). Box Score
