26, 2002 ALLENTOWN, PA -- The Washington College women's soccer team dropped a Centennial Conference game to host Muhlenberg College, 6-1, this afternoon. The loss drops the Shorewomen to 7-10 overall and 2-7 in Centennial Conference play, while Muhlenberg improves to 10-6 and 7-1 in conference play. Muhlenberg took a 2-0 lead off goals by Dawn Iberer and Rebecca Armstrong, but the Shorewomen got to within one at halftime as senior back Betty Weller (Sudlersville, MD/Queen Anne's County) scored at the 44:10 mark. The Mules pulled away in the second half, however, with four unanswered goals. Armstrong finished with a hat trick to lead the Mules. Courtney Levine added a goal and two assists. The Shorewomen return to action Wednesday with a 3:00 p.m. Centennial Conference game at McDaniel. Box Score
