6, 2001 GETTYSBURG, PA -- The Washington College women's soccer team lost to host Gettysburg College this afternoon, 7-1, in Centennial Conference action. The Shorewomen fall to 3-8-2 overall and 1-4 in conference play with the loss, while the Bullets improve to 8-4 and 5-0. Gettysburg freshman forward Christina Ditucci (East Rochester, NY/Mercy) led the Bullet offense with two goals and one assist on the day. Freshman midfielder Jenny Line (Carlisle, PA/Carlisle) and sophomore midfielder Liz Wesolowski (White Plains, NY/Ursuline) each tallied one goal and one assist. Freshman forward Jordan Rogers (Harrisburg, PA/Central Dauphin) scored Washington's only goal of the game off an assist from senior forward Kerry O'Keefe (Sacramento, CA/El Camino). That goal tied the game at 1-1 at the 18:38 mark. The Shorewomen trailed just 2-1 at the break before the Bullets scored five goals in the second half with the win at their backs. Washington returns to action Wednesday with a 4:00 p.m. Centennial Conference game at Haverford. Box Score
