WAC Competes in Shortened ECAC Championships

WORCESTER, MA -- The 10th-ranked Washington College women's rowing team competed at an abbreviated ECAC National Invitational Championship regatta today in Worcester, MA. With weather in Worcester this weekend more like early March than early May and with dangerous winds creating unsafe rowing conditions, all of Saturday's planned races were scratched and most of Sunday's races were cancelled as well.

The first varsity eight was fifth in its heat in 7:12.771, while the novice eight was sixth in its heat in 7:59.377.
