Two Shorewomen Named to IWLCA Academic Squad

CHESTERTOWN, MD - The Washington College women's lacrosse team has two representatives on the 2009 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Squad - Allie Hanzsche (Catonsville, MD/Mount de Sales) and Whitney Donald (Kingsville, MD/John Carroll). All student-athletes were nominated by their institutions and have attained at least junior standing academically. Nominees considered had a GPA of at least 3.5 or were in the top 10 percent of their squad.

Hanzsche was also named to the 2009 All-Centennial Conference Sportsmanship Team and the 2008 Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll. Donald was named to the 2008 and 2009 Centennial Conference Academic Honor Rolls.
