2009 LANCASTER, PA -- Washington College senior midfielder Brittany Lambert (Riva, MD/South River) and senior attacker Suzie Jakub (University Park, MD/St. John's College (DC) have been named to the All-Centennial Conference Women's Lacrosse Team in a vote conducted by the conference coaches. Lambert was named to the first team, while Jakub was tabbed as an honorable mention. Lambert, who was named to the second team in 2008, led the Shorewomen in total points (52), draw controls (38), and caused turnovers (21). She was also second on the team in goals (38) and ground balls (33) and was third on the team in assists (14). She is currently tied for 10th in the Centennial Conference in both assists per game and points per game. Jakub is a four-time All-Centennial selection having earned honorable mention status in 2006 and 2008 and second-team honors in 2007. She led the Shorewomen in goals (42) and was second in total points (44). She was also third on the team in draw controls (23). She is currently tied for fifth in the conference in goals per game. |
