#3 Bullets Down Shorewomen, 14-7
Gettysburg Scores Game's First Nine Goals

CHESTERTOWN, MD -- Third-ranked Gettysburg College scored the first nine goals of the game en route to a 14-7 Centennial Conference women's lacrosse victory over host Washington College this afternoon at Roy Kirby, Jr. Stadium. The Bullets improved to 11-0 overall and 5-0 in the Centennial with the win, while the Shorewomen fell to 6-8 and 1-5 with the loss.

Katie Ceglarski's goal off an assist from Krissy Browning with 16:16 left in the first half completed the Bullets' 9-0 start. Gettysburg held an 11-2 lead at halftime. The Shorewomen did cut the lead to five goals twice in the second half.

Browning finished with four goals and three assists for Gettysburg, while Ceglarski added two goals and two assists and Jenn Kelly contributed one goal and three assists. Jen Betts scored two goals and assisted on another and Katie Hagan had one goal and two assists. Alexandra Ewing fired in two goals for the Bullets.

Senior midfielder Erin Bollinger (Perry Hall, MD/Institute of Notre Dame), junior midfielder Lauren Sampson (Annapolis, MD/Annapolis), freshman attacker Suzie Jakub (University Park, MD/St. John's College, DC) each scored two goals for the Shorewomen. Freshman attacker Sally Mancini (Ocean City, MD/Worcester Prep) added a pair of assists.

Heather Kelley played the first half in goal for the Bullets and made three saves. Susan Meyers made four saves in the second half. Junior goalie Mollie Binotto (Pittsburgh, PA/Upper St. Clair) made 10 saves for the Shorewomen.

The Shorewomen return to action Wednesday with their final home game of the season - a 4:00 p.m. Centennial Conference contest against Haverford.
