#14 Dickinson Defeats WC, 20-6
Jakub Scores Two Goals

CARLISLE, PA -- 14th ranked Dickinson College defeated visiting Washington College 20-6 in a Centennial Conference women's lacrosse game Saturday afternoon. Freshman attack Suzie Jakub (University Park, MD/St. John's College, DC) scored two goals in the loss for the Shorewomen.

Nine different players recorded goals for Dickinson. Seven Red Devils had two goals or more in the game. Lesley Oot scored a game-high four goals and added two assists for Dickinson. Tara Goss and Laura Williams had three goals each, while Kristin Achtmeyer, Katie Austin, Lizzie Cone and Morgan Kelly each netted two goals for the Red Devils.

Senior attack Kelly Gallagher (Columbus, OH/Dublin Scioto) added a goal and two assists for Washington. Junior attack Caitlin Beane (University Park, MD/Elizabeth Seton), junior midfielder Lauren Sampson (Annapolis, MD/Annapolis) and junior attack Abby Chrismer (Darlington, MD/John Carroll) each had one goal to round out the scoring for the Shorewomen. Senior midfielder Erin Bollinger (Perry Hall, MD/Inst. of Notre Dame) also recorded an assist in the loss for Washington.

Dickinson outshot Washington, 38-17, and held a 22-5 advantage in draw controls. Williams tallied a game-high six draw controls for the Red Devils.

Dickinson improves to 12-3 overall and 6-3 in Centennial Conference play with the win. Washington concludes its season with a 7-10 overall record and a 2-7 mark against Centennial Conference opposition.
