#1 Salisbury Beats Shorewomen
Eichner Notches Four Assists

CHESTERTOWN, MD -- Visiting Salisbury University, the top-ranked team in Division III, defeated host Washington College, 26-5, in a non-conference women's lacrosse game this afternoon at Shriver Field. The Sea Gulls improved to 13-0 on the season with the win, while the Shorewomen finished their season at 3-14.

Fourteen different Salisbury players scored in the win. Sue Ackermann scored a game-high four goals, while Natalie Degele finished with two goals and a game-high five assists. Kate Scott added two goals and three assists, while Erin McCarthy contributed three goals and one assist.

Senior attacker Lindsey Eichner (Raritan, NJ/Bridgewater-Raritan) assisted on four of Washington's five goals. Senior defender Tarra Boulden (Newark, DE/Tower Hill) and freshman midfielder Jenna Gouck (Randolph, NJ/Randolph) each scored two goals, while sophomore attacker/midfielder Melanie Ruppert (Severna Park, MD/Severna Park) scored one goal for the Shorewomen.

Salisbury held a 45-12 advantage in shots and a 22-11 advantage in draw controls.
