28, 2004 SALISBURY, MD -- Fourth-ranked host Salisbury University grabbed a 7-2 halftime lead en route to a 15-4 win over visiting Washington College in women's lacrosse action this afternoon in Salisbury, MD. The Sea Gulls improve to 13-2 with the win, while the Shorewomen close out the 2004 regular season with a 9-8 record. Linda Ackermann and Liz Funk scored three goals each to lead Salisbury. Jessica White finished with two goals and a game-high three assists for the Sea Gulls. Sophomore goalie Ashley Crisler (Manchester, MD/North Carroll) made 19 saves for Washington. Senior attacker Janet Studdiford (Wyndmoor, PA/Springside School), sophomore attacker Erin Bollinger (Perry Hall, MD/Institute of Notre Dame), junior attacker Lindsey Eichner (Raritan, NJ/Bridgewater-Raritan), and senior midfielder Minta Sayres (East Haddam, CT/Westminster School) each scored one goal for the Shorewomen. |
