Kemp Named Centennial Player of the Week
Senior Notched Two Game-Winners

CHESTERTOWN, MD -- Washington College senior attack Kelsey Kemp (Stroudsburg, PA/Stroudsburg) has been named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week for field hockey for the week ending September 27th. Kemp had quite the dramatic week as the Shorewomen went 2-1 in three one-goal games in a five-day span.

On Wednesday, Kemp assisted on the Shorewomen's first goal and scored the game-tying goal as Washington rallied from a 2-0 deficit to force overtime against St. Mary's before falling, 3-2. Two days later, Kemp converted the final stroke of the series to give the Shorewomen a 2-1 win at Franklin & Marshall in strokes. Kemp finished off her week yesterday by scoring the game-winning goal with 5:31 remaining in a 2-1 win over Mary Washington.
