30, 2009 CHESTERTOWN, MD -- Washington College senior attack Kelsey Kemp (Stroudsburg, PA/Stroudsburg) has been named to the Womensfieldhockey.com National Division III Honor Roll for the week ending September 27th. Kemp, who was named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, had quite the dramatic week as the Shorewomen went 2-1 in three one-goal games in a five-day span. On Wednesday, Kemp assisted on the Shorewomen's first goal and scored the game-tying goal as Washington rallied from a 2-0 deficit to force overtime against St. Mary's before falling, 3-2. Two days later, Kemp converted the final stroke of the series to give the Shorewomen a 2-1 win at Franklin & Marshall in strokes. She finished off her week Sunday by scoring the game-winning goal with 5:31 remaining in a 2-1 win over Mary Washington. Kemp has already continued her strong play this week, scoring a goal in last night's 2-1 win at Swarthmore.
