Tancredi Named Centennial
Co-Offensive Player of the Week

LANCASTER, PA -- Washington College sophomore midfielder Kelly Tancredi (Wallingford, PA/Strath Haven) has been named the Centennial Conference Co-Offensive Field Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending September 2nd. Tancredi broke one school record in Saturday's season opener and helped the Shorewomen break two team records.

Tancredi scored two goals and handed out a school-record four assists in the Shorewomen's 13-0 win over Notre Dame (MD). Washington's 13-0 win set team records for goals in a game and margin of victory.

Washington's previous records for goals and margin of victory were set in a 12-1 win over Marymount on September 22nd, 1987. Tancredi's four assists broke the record of three set four times, most recently by Shane Moser last season against Bryn Mawr.
