McAdams Scores OT Game-Winner
WC Remains Unbeaten in Conference

ALLENTOWN, PA -- Junior midfielder Jessica McAdams (Baltimore, MD/Bryn Mawr) scored the game-winning goal just 1:16 into overtime to lift the Washington College field hockey team to a 1-0 Centennial Conference road win over Muhlenberg this afternoon in Allentown.

After 70 minutes of scoreless hockey, McAdams received the ball 25 yards out, beat a a pair of defenders and knocked in the decisive marker for the Shorewomen (6-2, 4-0 Centennial Conference) with 13:44 remaining on the clock.

Washington junior goalkeeper Christine Allebach (Telford, PA/Souderton) made eight saves in the win, while Muhlenberg junior Josephine Fasolino (Mamoroneck, NY/Rye Neck) recorded six.

The victory was the fifth consecutive overall for the Shorewomen, who return to action Tuesday with a 4:30 p.m. non-conference home game against Rowan.
