Eight Named to NFHCA Academic Squad
Shorewomen Also Win NFHCA Team Award
Eight Washington College field hockey players have been named to the 2008 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Academic Squad. Student-athletes selected for the squad have been nominated by their coaches and have attained a minimum overall grade-point average of at least 3.30 through the first semester of the 2008-09 academic year.

Gaull, Kemp, Bircsak Named to
Centennial Academic Honor Roll
Nine Washington College student-athletes have been named to the Centennial Conference's Academic Honor Roll for fall sports. To be named to the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior; a starter or key reserve on his or her team; and carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average. Washington's field hockey team had three student-athletes named to the Honor Roll.
