BRYN MAWR, PA – Visiting Washington College overcame an early 10-point deficit and held host Bryn Mawr to 27% shooting in the second half en route to a 57-49 Centennial Conference women's basketball win this afternoon in Bryn Mawr, PA. The Shorewomen are now 4-2 overall on the season, marking the first time since the 1998-99 campaign that they have won four of their first six contests. Washington also improved to 2-2 in conference play, while Bryn Mawr slipped to 2-5 overall and 0-4 in conference play.

Bryn Mawr raced out to a 20-10 lead in the game following a lay-up by Jessica Allen with 10:43 to play in the opening half. Bryn Mawr scored the next seven points to again cut into the lead, pulling within two at 49-47 on a jumper by Katie Driscoll with 3:37 remaining.

Jamrogowicz responded with a lay-up on Washington's next possession to make it 51-47 and then the Shorewomen's defense once again took over as Washington held Bryn Mawr to 1-for-10 shooting from the field over the final three minutes of the contest.
