4, 2004 ALLENTOWN, PA Host Muhlenberg College topped Washington College, 101-62, in a Centennial Conference women's basketball game this afternoon in Allentown, PA. The Mules improved to 5-0 overall and 3-0 in conference play, while the Shorewomen slipped to 1-4 and 0-3. Stephanie Coluccini scored 19 points and collected 10 rebounds to lead the Mules in the win. Kristen Piscadlo and Lacie Smith each added 13 points. Tiffany Kirk and Emily Wright added 10 points each, while Meghan Courtney scoed nine points and collected a game-high 15 rebounds. Piscadlo also tallied game-highs of six assists and eight steals. Sophomore forward Lauren Duckworth (Newtown, PA/Archbishop Wood) led the way for Washington with a game-high 23 points, nine rebounds, and a career-high four blocked shots. Freshman guard Julia Reynold (Laurel, MD/Atholton) scored a career-high 13 points and brought down seven rebounds, while sophomore guard Regina Barrett (Dobbs Ferry, NY/Mamaroneck) added 10 points for the Shorewomen. The Shorewomen return to action Tuesday with a 7:30 p.m. Centennial Conference home game against Bryn Mawr. |
