Back-to-back three-pointers by junior guards Krista Marino (Fort Washington, PA/Bishop McDevitt) and Bridget Hussey (Wilmington, DE/A.I. DuPont) ignited a 12-0 Bear run, however, as Ursinus jumped ahead, 60-48 with 3:56 on the clock. The Bears led by at least eight points the rest of the way.

Marino finished with a game-high 20 points on three-of-eight shooting from the floor and 12-for-18 shooting from the free throw line. She also dished out six assists and collected seven rebounds. Ursinus senior center Katie Shearer (Reading, PA/Exeter Township) finished with 17 points and eight boards. Sophomore forward Meghan Hartzell (Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) contributed ten points.

Washington shot 28% from the field in the game, but did collect 23 offensive rebounds. Ursinus took 46 free throws and connected on 31 of them.
