Junior goalie Stephanie Seibert made 11 saves as host Washington College posted a 9-6 Centennial Conference women's lacrosse victory over visiting Swarthmore tonight on Kibler Field at Roy Kirby, Jr. Stadium. The Shorewomen improved to 9-5 overall and 5-3 in conference play with the win, clinching their first winning record in Centennial games since finishing the 2004 season at 6-3 in the conference.

Juniors, midfielder Mollie Shipley and attacker Corinne Ziccardi each had six points to lead all players as host Washington College downed visiting Ursinus, 18-13, on Wednesday afternoon at Kibler Field at Roy Kirby, Jr. Stadium in Centennial Conference women’s lacrosse action. The Shorewomen improve to 5-3 overall and 1-1 in the conference, while the Bears drop to 5-4 and 2-1 respectively. The win was also the 200th all-time victory for Shorewomen Lacrosse, a program that has been varsity at Washington College since 1982.

Liebig Named Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach
Washington College head women's lacrosse coach Julika Blankenship has announced the hiring of Juli Liebig as an assistant coach on the Shorewomen's staff. Liebig, who attended nearby Queen Anne's County High School, was a star goalie at Longwood University.

CHESTERTOWN, MD – The Washington College women’s lacrosse team ended a seven-year losing streak to Dickinson College with a 13-7 Centennial Conference home win over the Red Devils this afternoon on Kibler Field at Roy Kirby, Jr. Stadium. The Shorewomen improved to 10-2 overall and 4-2 in conference play with the win, while the Red Devils fell to 4-9 and 1-4 with the loss. The 10 wins mark the Shorewomen’s highest win total in a season since going 14-6 in 2003.
