    Visiting Washington College registered its first all-time victory at Muhlenberg, 66-60, on Saturday afternoon at Memorial Hall in Centennial Conference women’s basketball action. The Shorewomen, who trailed 42-29 at halftime, held the Mules to just 18 points in the second half while scoring 37 points of their own. Senior guard Ali Grundy scored a game-best and career-high 25 points in the win and put Washington ahead for good at 57-54 with a three-pointer with 2:08 remaining as the Shorewomen shot a season-high 56% from three-point range (10-for-18).

    Washington College Director of Athletics Dr. Bryan Matthews has announced the hiring of Alisha Mosley as the school's head women's basketball coach. Mosley, who has served as recruiting coordinator at Loyola University Maryland since 2005, has been an assistant coach at the NCAA Division I level since 2001. She also played at the Division I level at Wake Forest University.
