Washington College Hall of Famer Tom Eliason '42 Passes Away
Washington College is saddened by the loss of Tom Eliason '42, who played and coached tennis at the school and remained connected to its tennis program for decades. Eliason, who passed away this morning at the age of 93, was inducted into the Washington College Hall of Fame in 2009.

The Washington College men's tennis team split a pair of matches in Orlando today. The Shoremen opened the day with a 9-0 Centennial Conference win over Ursinus before falling to NAIA school Bethel University (TN), 8-1.

The Shoremen opened the day by winning five of six singles matches after losing all three doubles matches to knock off Division II Dallas Baptist, 5-4. Washington then bested NAIA school Cumberland, 5-1, later in the day.
