CHESTERTOWN, MD -- Kevin Breslin '12, a former Washington College All-Centennial Conference and All-Region basketball player, and the rest of the Washington Generals, will be taking their long-running barnstorming tour with their better-known rivals, the Harlem Globetrotters, to the Delmarva area this February and March. The Generals and Globetrotters will play in Salisbury, MD, Tuesday, February 26th and in Newark, DE, Tuesday, March 12th.
The game in Salisbury will be held at the Wicomico Civic Center, while the game in Newark be held at the Bob Carpenter Center on the University of Delaware campus. Both games will tip off at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available on the Harlem Globetrotters web site at http://www.harlemglobetrotters.com/tickets.
Breslin began playing with the Generals this past fall. He scored 1,517 career points during his four-year career with the Shoremen, becoming just the sixth player in the program's 100-year history to reach the 1,500-point mark. He was a three-time All-Centennial Conference selection, twice earning first-team honors. As a senior, he was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-Middle Atlantic District second team and the D3Hoops.com All-Middle Atlantic Region third team. He led the Centennial Conference in scoring in 2011-12, averaging 18.4 points per game. In 98 career games, Breslin averaged 15.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. He was also a career 81.7% shooter from the free-throw line.
