Rachel Boyle returns for her 12th season as the Shorewomen’s head coach and 14th year as part of the Washington College field hockey coaching staff. During her tenure, the Shorewomen have reached postseason play on seven occasions, including trips to the Centennial Conference Tournament three of the last four seasons. The Shorewomen have twice reached the Centennial Conference Semifinals in the last five years.
With Boyle on staff, Washington College field hockey players have earned All-Centennial Conference recognition 34 times. Additionally, the Shorewomen have received the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Academic Team Award nine times, most recently in 2012.
Coach Boyle earned a B.S. in Sport Industry and Coaching from Division I Ohio University in 1996. During her four-year career as a Bobcat, Boyle was a starting defender as a junior and senior and served as a team co-captain during the 1995 season. Boyle was a four-year letter-winner and helped the Bobcats reach the Mid-American Conference Tournament her junior and senior seasons.
Boyle serves as the athletic department’s Coordinator of Student-Athlete Services and earned an M.S. in Psychology from Washington College in 2006. Coach Boyle holds a Level II Accreditation from the USA Field Hockey Association and is an active member of both the US Field Hockey Futures Development Program and the National Field Hockey Coaches Association. Boyle and her husband David have three children - Marcus, Lexi, and Brady - and reside in Chestertown.

Tory Sharpless was named the Shorewomen's assistant coach in May 2013. Sharpless was a four-year player at Division I Delaware, where she served as a team co-captain as a senior.
Sharpless was a four-year letterwinner for the Blue Hens, scoring eight career goals and assisting on two others. In addition to serving as a captain, she was also a three-year team representative on the Student Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) and was part of the SAAC's executive board for two years. She earned a Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Commissioner's Academic Award in 2011 and was a member of the CAA Championship team in 2009.
Sharpless has been a coach and counselor for the University of Delaware Field Hockey Camp, a USA Futures coach, and a coach and counselor for JET Field Hockey in Princeton, NJ. While a student at Delaware, she worked as an intern in Athletic Operations in the spring of 2013.
Sharpless earned a B.S. in Human Services from Delaware in May 2013.

Gabi DeJuliius is in her third year as the Shorewomen's manager. She was an IAAM All-Star in both field hockey and golf while attending The Catholic High School of Baltimore.
