Shoremen Baseball Hosts MOT (Middletown-Odessa-Townsend) Little League Challenger Division Teams

This past Monday night, the Washington College baseball team hosted the Braves and Phillies of the MOT (Middletown-Odessa-Townsend) Little League Challenger Division at Athey Baseball Park.

Head coach Matt Reynolds spoke about the evening.

"It was our honor to host the MOT Little League Challenger Division game here at Athey Park on Monday night.  The Braves and the Phillies played with a joy, enthusiasm and sportsmanship that should serve as a reminder to us all of what a privilege it is to play the game of baseball!  I want to extend our gratitude to all of the volunteers that facilitate this experience for the young boys and girls of the Challenger League, including our former Director of Athletics, Dr. Bryan Matthews.  We look forward to hosting this group again in the future."

Following the game, the two teams gathered with members of the Washington College baseball team for a group photo.
