WC 7th at America Trophy,
The MAISA Spring Championships

THROGGS NECK, NY -- The Washington College sailing team finished seventh of 16 schools at the America Trophy, the MAISA Spring Championships, this weekend. Old Dominion won the regatta, followed by St. Mary's (MD) in second and Navy in third.

In A Division, sophomores Mike Buckley (Sandwich, MA/Tabor Academy), Jennifer Hanley (Sparks, MD/Maryvale Prep), and Nathan St. Onge (Hyannis, MA/Barnstable) finished seventh. In B Division, freshman Colin Robertson (Annapolis, MD/St. Mary's), senior Lisa Semanick (Baltimore, MD/Western Tech) and freshman Diane Morrow (Tabernacle, NJ/Shawnee) finished seventh.

The event was the final competition of the season for the WC sailing team.
