11, 2002 CHARLESTON, SC -- The Washington College
women's sailing team finished 13th at the Charleston Women's Spring
Interesectional this past weekend in Charleston, South Carolina. The
regatta was sailed in moderate breeze and strong current in Charleston
Harbor. In A division senior Sarah Corson (Demarest,
NJ/The Masters School, NY) and freshman Diane Morrow (Tabernacle,
NJ/Shawnee) placed 13th, while in B division senior Kristen Samuel
(Hudson, OH/Western Reserve Academy) and sophomore Jen Hanley
(Sparks, MD/Maryvale Prep) also placed 13th. Brown University won the regatta followed by Old Dominion University in second and College of Charleston in third. Washington returns to action at the Navy Team Race on February 23 and 24. |
