Finishes Second at Tom Curtis Memorial
Packard and Shepherd Win A Division

The 19th-ranked Washington College sailing team finished second of 18 schools at the Tom Curtis Memorial, hosted this weekend by Georgetown. Senior skipper Derek Packard (Excelsior, MN/Breck) and sophomore crew James Shepherd (Chicago, IL/Lincoln Park) won A Division.

Washington Finishes 2nd at North Fall #1
WC Also Represented at Three Other Regattas
The Washington College sailing team was represented at four regattas this past weekend. Washington was second of 16 teams at Hobart/William Smith's North Fall #1 and seventh of 18 teams at the Senator's Cup, hosted by St. Mary's. Meanwhile, at Navy, freshman Mildred Conroy (Newton, MA/Tabor Academy) finished 13th at the Faye Bennet Trophy, the MAISA Women's Singles Championships, and sophomore Guy Tawney (Baltimore, MD/St. Paul's School) was 13th at the Laser Qualifier South.
