Swim Teams Receive Scholar All-American Status
Both Squads Posted GPA's Above 3.0 in Spring

CHESTERTOWN, MD - Both Washington College swim teams have been awarded Team Scholar All-American status for the Spring 2009 semester by the College Swimming Coaches Association. To qualify for the award, the team must finish with a team grade-point average of at least 3.0 for the spring semester.

The Washington College women's swim team recorded a team grade-point average of 3.39, the highest of any Centennial Conference team, while the Washington College men's swim team's grade-point average was 3.03. Dickinson's men's and women's teams were the only other Centennial Conference swim teams to earn Scholar All-American status for the spring semester.
