Three from WC Named to
All-Centennial Sportsmanship Team

LANCASTER, PA - Three Washington College student-athletes have been named to the All-Centennial Conference Sportsmanship Team for fall sports. Each Centennial Conference member institution was permitted to nominate one student from each fall program who exemplifies the best in sportsmanship. Nominations were submitted by the athletic departments or head coaches. This is the second year of the All-Centennial Sportsmanship team, which was proposed by the conference's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Junior attack Kristin Bircsak (East Windsor, NJ/Hightstown) represented Washington's field hockey team, sophomore defender Danny Wood (Lancaster, PA/Lampeter-Strasburg) represented Washington's men's soccer team, and junior middle hitter Kelli Canada (Midlothian, VA/James River) represented Washington's volleyball team.
