"I was happy how we responded in singles and how we came through in a tough match. Today helped us get ready for tomorrow's championship match." Washington's previous single-season record for consecutive wins was 14, set in 1987. The school record for overall consecutive wins stands at 16; Washington won the final 11 matches of 1994 and the first five matches of 1995.
