25, 2004 CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA -- Two Washington College men's tennis players competed against Division I players yesterday and today at the UVA Fall Invitational in Charlottesville, VA. Junior Tim Riskie (Woodbury, NJ/Woodbury) advanced to the quarterfinals of the back draw in "B" draw singles. Riskie and sophomore Vivian Chhetri (Delhi, India/Prachar Vidhlaya) advanced to the quarterfinals in "B" draw doubles. Riskie dropped his opening singles match, but bounced back with a win in his first back draw match, topping Jonathan Antle of Old Dominion, 6-2, 6-3, before being eliminated in the back draw quarterfinals. Chhetri went 0-3 in "A" draw singles play. In doubles, Riskie and Chhetri posted a 9-8 win over Tyghe Carstens and Charlie Drew of NC State in the first round before falling in the quarterfinals. The Shoremen will next compete at the ITA Southeast Regionals, to be held October 2-4 at Goucher College. WAC Match Results
