April 10, 2005 CARLISLE, PA -- Visiting Washington College captured the doubles point and won five singles matches en route to a 6-1 Centennial Conference men's tennis victory over host Dickinson this afternoon in Carlisle, PA. The Shoremen improved to 5-8 overall and 4-1 in conference play with the win. Sophomore Arturo Solis (Guatemala, Guatemala/Valle Verde School) and junior Tim Riskie (Woodbury, NJ/Woodbury) cruised to an 8-2 win at No.1 doubles, while junior Mike Edison (Darnestown, MD/Good Counsel) and junior Maciek Prytula (Szczecin, Poland/PLO) pulled out a 9-8(1) victory at No. 2 doubles. In singles, Solis was a 6-1, 6-2 winner at No. 1, while Riskie posted a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 2. Edison won at No. 3 , 6-3, 6-1, while Prytula came away with a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 4. Junior Ronen Kashvin (Rishon Le Tzion, Israel/Hashmonaim Bat-Yam) supplied the Shoremen with a 6-0, 7-5, win at No. 5.
