20, 2004 CHESTERTOWN, MD -- The 18th-ranked Washington College men's tennis team swept visiting Ursinus College, 7-0, in a Centennial Conference match this afternoon at Schottland Tennis Center. The Shoremen moved to 82-0 all-time in Centennial play with the win and extended their overall conference winning streak to 114 matches with the win. Freshmen Vivian Chhetri (Delhi, India/Prachar Vidhlaya) and Arturo Solis (Guatemala, Guatemala/Vallo Verde School) won at No. 1 doubles and at the top two singles spots. In doubles, the tandem posted an 8-1 victory. Chhetri was a 6-2, 6-1 winner at No. 1 singles, while Solis won at No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-0. In the other doubles matches, sophomores Maciek Prytula (Szczecin, Poland/PLO) and Tim Riskie (Woodbury, NJ/Woodbury) won 8-0 at No. 2, while seniors Ben Dernis (Paris, France/New Hampton, NH) and Brant Whisler (Willow Grove, PA/Upper Moreland) posted an 8-4 win at No. 3. Prytula and Riskie also both won in singles as Prytula was a 6-1, 6-3 victor at No. 3 and Riskie won every game in a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 4. Sophomore Nick Komljenovic (Glen Burnie, MD/Glen Burnie) won at No. 5, 6-4, 6-3, and sophomore Ronen Kashvin (Rishon Le Tzion, Israel/Hashmonaim Bat-Yam) was a 6-1, 6-0 winner at No. 6 to round out singles play. The Shoremen, now 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the Centennial this season, will play two matches tomorrow as they take on Averett at 9:30 a.m. and conference foe Muhlenberg at 1:00 p.m. Match Results
