3, 2004 RICHMOND, VA -- Host University of Richmond, a Division I team, proved too much for Washington College, the 18th-ranked team in Division III, in a men's tennis match this afternoon in Richmond, VA. The Spiders handed the Shoremen a 7-0 loss, dropping Washington to 8-2 on the season. The Shoremen did manage a win at No. 2 doubles, where freshman Arturo Solis (Guatemala, Guatemala/Vallo Verde School) and sophomore Maciek Prytula (Szczecin, Poland/PLO) beat David Donn and Jeppy Moss, 8-6. Sophomore Tim Riskie (Woodbury, NJ/Woodbury) won a set at No. 5 singles, falling to Matt Stillwagon, 6-2, 5-7, (10-2). The Shoremen are back in action Wednesday with a 3:30 p.m. Centennial Conference match at Franklin & Marshall. Match Results
