19, 2003 CARLISLE, PA -- The Washington College men's tennis team ran its all-time Centennial Conference record to 80-0 this afternoon with a 7-0 win at Dickinson. The Shoremen, who clinched their 10th straight Centennial team title Tuesday when Haverford beat Muhlenberg, improved to 11-4 overall and 8-0 in conference play this year with the win. In doubles, junior Peter Taylor (Canton, CT/Canton) and senior Louis Blanchette (Dieppe, New Brunswick, Canada/Mathieu-Martin) won 8-1 at No. 1, sophomore Asfand Farouk (Karachi, Pakistan/City School) and senior Alvaro Prado (Guatemala City, Guatemala/Liceo Javier) won 8-2 at No. 2, and freshmen Maciek Prytula (Szczecin, Poland/PLO) and Tim Riskie (Woodbury, NJ/Woodbury) won 8-5 at No. 3. In singles, Taylor recorded a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 1. Blanchette won in three sets, 7-5, 4-6, 6-0 at No. 2. Farouk was a 6-2, 6-1 winner at No. 3, while Prado cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 4. Prytula won 6-0, 6-3 at No. 5 and Riskie won 6-1, 6-3 at No. 6 to roun out singles play. The Shoremen travel to Mary Washington for a 2:30 p.m. match Tuesday. Match Results
