Taylor Seventh at ITA Nationals

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX -- Washington College junior Peter Taylor (Canton, CT/Canton) completed a seventh-place finish in Division III men's singles at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association National Small College Championships today.

Taylor defeated Casey Clagett of Wittenberg, 6-1, 6-0, in today's seventh place match. Taylor began play at the event Thursday, when he lost to Demetris Leontis of NYU, 6-2, 3-6, 7-5. On Friday, Taylor lost a consolation semifinal match to Jordan Taillon of Trinity (TX), 5-7, 6-2, 6-1.

The Washington College men's tennis team opens its spring season February 15 with a 5:00 p.m. match at Division I Binghamton University.
