Green Named ESPN the Magazine
Men's At-Large Academic All-American
Washington College men's tennis player Todd Green (Ridgewood, NJ/Ridgewood), who will be a senior this fall, has been named to the 2008 ESPN the Magazine College Division Academic All-America Men's At-Large third team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). The men's at-large team is open to all NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA student-athletes competing in golf, rifle, volleyball, gymnastics, skiing, water polo, fencing, ice hockey, swimming, wrestling, lacrosse, and tennis. To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or significant reserve with legitimate athletic credentials and at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA. The nominee must also be of at least sophomore standing.

Green & Kielek Named ESPN the Magazine
Men's At-Large Academic All-District
Two Washington College student-athletes have been named to the 2008 ESPN the Magazine College Division Academic All-District II Men's At-Large teams. Junior tennis player Todd Green (Ridgewood, NJ/Ridgewood) was named to the first team, while junior lacrosse attackman Jimmy Kielek (Baltimore, MD/Archbishop Curley) was named to the second team. The Academic All-District teams are selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
