Shoremen 2nd at Orange Bowl Classic

KEY LARGO, FL -- The Washington College men's swim team finished second at the 2006 Orange Bowl Swimming Classic in Key Largo, FL. The Shoremen, who were a late addition to the meet, are in the midst of their annual winter training trip to Florida.

George Mason won the event with 578 points. Washington was second with 390, while St. Louis was third with 235.

The sprint-style competition, held at Key Largo's Jacobs Aquatics Center, featured 24 different swimming events.

The Shoremen return to competition January 21st with a 1:00 p.m. Centennial Conference home meet against Dickinson.
