2/8 - The swim meet between host Washington College and visiting Swarthmore originally scheduled for this Wednesday has been moved up to Tuesday. The official listed start time is still 6:30, but the meet may start as early as 6:00 if possible.

Shoremen Edge Green Terror, 48-46
Pollock Wins Pair of Individual Events
The Washington College men's swim team recorded its first Centennial Conference win of the season tonight with a 48-46 win over host McDaniel College. Senior Dylan Pollock (Savannah, GA/Benedictine Military) won two individual events for the Shoremen, who improved to 4-5 overall and 1-4 in conference meets.

Swim Teams Receive Scholar All-American Status
Both Squads Posted GPA's Above 3.0 in Fall

Both Washington College swim teams have been awarded Team Scholar All-American status for the Fall 2009 semester by the College Swimming Coaches Association. To qualify for the award, the team must finish with a team grade-point average of at least 3.0 for the fall semester.
