The Shoremen improved to 3-12-1 overall and 1-6-1 in conference play with the win, while the Fords fell to 6-10 and 1-7 with the loss. The Shoremen took a 1-0 lead when senior Kevin Rodriguez (Fort Collins, CO/Fort Collins) headed in his first collegiate goal off an assist from freshman Tim Marcin (Wilmington, DE/Concord) at 7:48.
