September 17, 2005 COLLEGEVILLE, PA -- Junior forward Josh Todd (Crisfield, MD/Crisfield) scored two first half goals as the Washington College men's soccer team picked up its first win of the season, topping host Ursinus College, 3-1, in the Centennial Conference opener for both schools today in Collegeville, PA. Todd gave the Shoremen (1-4) the lead 9:17 into the game and extended the margin to 2-0 with his second goal of the day at 36:26. Washington freshman forward Brian Schultz (Baltimore, MD/Calvert Hall) made the scored 3-0 in favor of the Shoremen at 84:45. Othmane Boutayeb got Ursinus on the board at the 85:18 mark. Washington held a 16-4 advantage in shots and a 4-3 edge in corner kicks in the game. The Shoremen are back in action Wednesday with a 4:00 p.m. game at Goucher.
