Shoremen Fall to No. 16 Muhlenberg, 1-0
Miller Makes Seven Saves in Goal

ALLENTOWN, PA -- The Washington College men's soccer team slipped to 4-2-1 overall and 1-1 in the Centennial Conference with a 1-0 loss at 16th-ranked Muhlenberg College this evening. The Mules improved to 7-2 and 2-0 with the win.

The game's only goal was scored by Muhlenberg's Justin Marx off an assist from James Henshaw at 59:40. Muhlenberg held a 28-4 advantage in shots and a 13-4 edge in corner kicks.

WC junior goalkeeper Ryan Miller (Bel Air, MD/Fallston) made seven saves for the Shoremen, including a stop on a penalty and another on a point-blank rebound shot in the 26th minute. He has now held eleven consecutive opponents to under two goals, dating back to last season.

The Shoremen are back in action Wednesday with a 5:00 p.m. Centennial Conference game at Swarthmore.
