Shoremen Fall to EMU, 1-0
Miller Makes Eight Saves

BRIDGEWATER, VA -- The Washington College men's soccer team slipped to 1-1 on the young season with a 1-0 loss to Eastern Mennonite this morning at the Bridgewater Tournament. EMU improved to 1-0-1 with the win.

The Royals scored the only goal of the game at the 43:28 mark when Eric Blosser knocked in a deflection. Arsene Tshidimu assisted on the goal.

WC junior goalkeeper Ryan Miller (Bel Air, MD/Fallston) made eight saves in the loss. Dating back to last season Miller has allowed no more than one goal in each of his last six games. Tim Koehn made seven saves for the Royals, who held a 24-10 advantage in shots.

The Shoremen return to action next weekend when they host the Washington College Soccer Classic. WC will play Rutgers-Newark at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday and Catholic at 3:30 p.m. next Sunday.
