Velykis (Franklinville, NJ/Delsea Regional) notched three assists to lead the Washington College Shoremen to a 3-1 victory over visiting Swarthmore at a cold and rain-soaked Kibler Field this afternoon. Swarthmore (5-12-1, 0-8) cut the lead to one on a goal by Charlie Taylor at 74:22, but the Shoremen held the Garnet off for the rest of the contest and Dudick scored the final goal off a Velykis pass at 89:51 to round out the scoring.
